Today we have said goodbye to the beer section that we at Beer Events have filled with content every day of the summer at La Fonda, the highly rated programme on Catalunya Ràdio masterfully directed by the gastronome Pep Nogué. And we have done so with a heartfelt tribute to Ales Agullons and his people. We talked about the Hops & Hopes beer that year after year they brew for us especially for the Barcelona Beer Festival.
There have been 40 programmes broadcast daily from 1pm to 2pm, where we have talked about 40 different breweries, with their gastronomic pairing; 40 different beer styles and all cooked in 40 breweries in Catalonia. And the fact is that in our country a great diversity of craft beer of the highest quality is brewed: we believe that this was absolutely clear.
The audience’s response has exceeded all expectations: a great following, a large audience and the level of satisfaction has been very high. Many messages have been received, and this fills us with pride, as once again we feel responsible for having brought our breweries closer to all Catalan homes through a prestigious communication channel.
We are convinced that this will not stop here …. will continue?
