El Museu de la Xocolata de Barcelona, is the benchmark in the dissemination of chocolate through, among others, the programming of activities around it. That is why they contacted Beer Events, which is dedicated to the production of events and activities around craft beer.
Both share the vision of considering gastronomy as culture, craft work as a differentiating goal of quality and the desire to show these products in a positive and experiential way.
From this common point, Beer Events proposed inside the museum, with a tasting of 5 pairs of chocolate-craft beers, where through explanations and experimentation, the participant discovers the organoleptic links that are established between the two products.
The Museu de la Xocolata has defined the 5 samples used in all its tastings (Jivara Lactée, Caraïbe, Manjari, Guanaja and Nyangbo) and Beer Events choose five different styles and breweries to give a broad view of the Catalan craft beer movement.
This project was so successful that it has become a permanent fixture in the program of activities of the Museu de la Xocolata de Barcelona.
