Milano, November 2023
On November 13, 2023, a Taste Spain action took place in Milan, organized by ICEX. The activity brings together Spanish producers who are interested in promoting their products in the country, in this case several breweries that are part of the association Cerveceros de España participated. The tasting took place at the Hotel Melià Milano and was attended by a large number of Italian distributors and restaurateurs interested in discovering the country’s beer diversity.
Beer Events’ in-depth knowledge of the Italian craft beer sector brought the task of finding and managing the speaker for the tasting for the participating breweries. For this task, the expert and beer teacher Alessandra Agrestini was selected, who, among many other activities, is a regular judge of the Barcelona Beer Challenge and has coordinated the Italian Grape Ale stand at the Barcelona Beer Festival.
A detailed tasting/presentation of the breweries Dougall’s, El Camino, Mahou – San Miguel, Naparbier and La Pirata was prepared together. Each of them selected two references that were tasted in an intense session that generated a great deal of interest and a large number of follow-up questions.
